PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE
The federal Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Act and the Federal Trade Commission's implementing regulation under the Act, 16 CFR section 313, require lawyers, like other professionals who advise on matters of personal finance, to inform their clients of their policies regarding the privacy of client information.

Lawyers have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those the Act requires. We have always protected your right to privacy.

In the course of providing our clients with advice, we sometimes receive significant personal financial information from our clients. Simpson, Tillinghast & Sorensen holds in confidence all information we receive from clients. We have safeguards in place to protect the information, and we do not release it to anyone outside the firm except as you agree or as we might be required to release it under an applicable law.
